Details:
Intended for wet application, with ignition source-free design. Capable of holding liquids in the hazardous areas zones 1, 2 21 and 22, flammable and non-flammable.
The whole unit is antistatic, thanks to the dissipation of electrostatics via the dissipative floor covering.
An activated carbon filter is supplied with the unit, which absorbs gases and vapours. Depending on the suction material and application, the user has a choice between different activated cartridges:
- Standard – for solvents and fuels, polar and non-polar substances
- Acid impregnated – mainly used for alkalis
- Basic impregnated – mainly used for highly concentrated acids
The substance properties as well as the possible risk of electrostatics due to the transport of substances must be known to the operator. When using with problematic substances, the unit must be additionally connected to the company’s equipotential bonding system by means of the corresponding earthing clamp before use.
