Wheelie Bin Cleaning
Designed for the cleaning of single 240 litre bins (domestic wheelie bins) the METRO utilises a manual lift without the added space and cost for hydraulics and a lift mechanism. Wheelie bins are washed within the canopy to protect from overspray and all the water used is contained within the housing. The inside and outside of the bins can be jet washed, including the lids and wheels
Water re-use
Water is collected in the catchment tray to be re-used throughout the day. Wastewater is filtered via the tough GRP gridded catchment area and then processed via a series of filters before returning to the main pump. The main catchment area also features a ‘self cleaning’ flush system where recirculated water is used to help wash debris from the main tray. Options include an additional V-MIX™ water fresher system

Easy to Install
The new METRO bin wash is easy to install and has been designed as a ‘plug and play’ device, simply bolt down into any standard panel van and it’s ready to use without any extra pipe work or more complicated installation. Machines can be shipped out by Morclean to you the customer, and can be installed in your own van without the need to bring the vehicle to us. Any standard panel van is suitable, to include (but not limited to) *Transit Custom, Renault Trafic, Vauxhall Movano or Vivaro, as well as some models of Toyota, VW, Mercedes and Nissan etc.
Flexibility
The machine is ideal for town centre or city applications as it can be used without a trailer, and it is fully contained within a standard panel van. In addition to wheelie bin cleaning, the METRO 150 series models are versatile and are also ideal for manual patio cleaning or general pressure washing. Plus the METRO 200 series models can be used with a rotary head or other similar accessories where a higher flow of water is required.
The 150 series are ideal for manual jet washing, with a standard hose gun and lance, and the 200 series models (with a higher flow rate) are ideal for use with a rotary head or ‘Wirlaway’ rotary patio cleaner

Quality and Build
While the METRO 150 and 200 series machines are designed to be entry level, and a competitively priced machine, we don’t compromise on build quality or the standard of components. All the METRO models utilise high quality water pumps with ceramic pistons and brass cylinder heads, with brass unloader valves, and are powered by genuine HONDA engines. The catchment tray features a tough GRP grating and the base, canopy and catchment tray are made from recyclable polyethylene materials
Options for fresher water
Both the 150 and 200 series are built with water re-use and filtration as standard. Options are available for both models including electric start engines and water fresher. Both the 150 and 200 series models can be supplied with our popular V-MIX™ water freshener system, normally only found on other high spec or automated Morclean models. The V-MIX™ introduces a water freshener as and when required by the operator, with the simple turn of a lever, resulting in fresher smelling water
Easy to Maintain
The water filters used on the METRO are removable and washable, the catchment tray and filters are easy to access and clean. All models can also be used with mains tap water for high volume washing
*Please refer to the dimensions spec sheet for the 150 and 200 series models to check the internal dimensions of your van. The minimum dimensions required should be measured between the wheel arches and to include any plywood panelling, fasteners or fixings etc. While every effort has been made to reduce the dimensions of the METRO models, you should also check internal door fasteners and closure devices, and double check all measurements before ordering a machine
The National Association of Wheelie Bin Washers represents those wheelie bin washing companies that are able to satisfy the associations entry criteria, which requires them to comply with all existing legislation and guidelines for the washing of bins using high pressure pumps.
