About Morclean: Its History and People

Morley Engineering Services was established in 1977. The business commenced in a garage adjacent to Mr. Morley’s house.

The company begins supplying engineering and agricultural machines, pumps, consumables and parts.

In the very early years, high pressure water cleaners become best-sellers and the main focus of the business.

The company expands and begins to supply to transport, agriculture and industrial sectors and local government.

Business expansion dictates new premises, which were undertaken at Arkwright, a small town on the outskirts of Chesterfield in Derbyshire.

Far more room for stock and an increase in the number of clerical staff and engineers  assisted with the continued growth of the business.

Morclean’s range of products is extensively expanded to include vacuum cleaners, truck mounted waste cart washers, high pressure cleaners and bowsers.

The Morclean brand is born to reflect the change of direction in the business to industrial cleaning equipment.

The range of products on offer expands to include a much wider variety of floor care equipment, static high pressure washers, high pressure jetters attached to trailers and bowsers.

Morclean’s office at Staveley, Chesterfield is opened. Large expansion of the company premises means more space for stock and room for an increase in product lines including; water reclaim systems, static & trailer waste cart wash machines and highly specialist vacuums.

The company’s web presence commenced in 2000.

The head office and engineering center at Staveley is extensively expanded to accommodate the increasing requirement for more stock and staff. Morclean continues to make a strong imprint on the waste cart wash industry by investing in R&D, introducing  technologies new to the users.

Exhibited at the National Cleaning Show, held at the internationally renowned NEC Arena at Birmingham, the second city of the UK.
Our dealer base develops in Europe and equipment is exported all over the world.

Distribution hub opened in Rotterdam, a major port in the Netherlands.

Dealers and distributors expand in Israel, the Middle East and Australia.

Large storage unit opened at nearby Markham Vale to service auto wash pads, filters and waste cart machines.

Morclean wins 2 Silver accolades at the prestigious ‘Green Apple’ awards for the wash pad system and LoFlow pressure washer.

Morclean sales office is opened in New Jersey, USA.

Product innovation drives forward the waste and recycle cart machine range, with Morclean now boasting 9 professional models in the UK.
